Born in 1957, Ali Olgun is broad shouldered and has long beard. In 1985, he came to Kartal with his childhood friend. He has been living in Kadıköy for 38 years. Ali Amca, who creates his own lifestyle, keeps living by collecting tins in the streets day and night. He reads newspaper every morning. He prepares his own food. He values effort and hard work and persevarence. He is loved by the artisans of Kadıköy and is known as Kabasakal.
